It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Owens (Grover, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Uneda Godwin Lee; her husband Dean Bertis Westmoreland; and her sister Barbara Lee Fant Moore. She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth Lee Lowe of College Station, TX; her aunts, Bernice McCutcheon of Lake City, SC and Harriet Sue Nelson of Myrtle Beach; her nieces, Bonnie Nations of Hickory Tavern, SC and Lisa Lowe of College Station, TX; her nephew Robert Lowe of Austin, TX; her godson Hart Wells of Leesburg, VA; her caregiver Gina Short; and her close friend Betsy Wells.
