We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2021, at the age of 92, Annis Porter of Grover, North Carolina, born in Cherokee, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Isler and Eunice Neal Isler; her husband Joe Benson Porter; her great grandchild Melinda Jean Mathes; her son Bobby Keith Porter; and her siblings, Jim, Ben, Lester, Sara, Beulah Howser, Annie Isler and Pearly Mae Marlowe.
She is survived by: her brother Glen Isler (Pat); her sons, Larry Porter (Brenda) and Roger Porter (Jackie); her daughter-in-law Betty Porter; her grandchildren, Cindy Porter Mathes (Eddie), Halie Porter Ruppe (Jimmy), John Cole Porter (Tessa) and Sarah Porter Way (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Zell Mathes (Megan), Kelly Mathes, Mikel and Cody Ruppe; and her great great grandchildren, Maddie Mathes and Mackenna Mathes.
