She is survived by: her husband Carl Anthony "Tony" Nixon; her siblings, Debra Ann Alons Pope of Greenville, Scott Lee Alons (Liz) of Edenton and Rodney Ben Alons (Mary) of Pantego; her siblings-in-law, Paulanne Qadoura (Nabil) of Cary and Jeffery Nixon (Joel) of Plymouth; her son-in-law Eric Wilson (Heather) of Grimesland; her nieces and nephews, Roy Alons (Victoria), Ryan Alons (Rebecca), Amanda Robinson (Matt), Kristin Alons, Kamal Qadoura (Justina), Summer Qadoura, Colby Nixon (Jessica) and Tanner Woolard; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Evelyn Eden Alons, Lillian Carol Alons, Duncan James Robinson, Donna Lee Robinson, C. J. Nixon, Madilyn Nixon and Zoey Filian; and also Addison Wilson.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center at UNC, 101 Manning Drive, CB #7600, Chapel Hill, NC 27599.
