She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jessie Whitley and Sudie Everette Whitley of Virginia; her husband Frank Edwards, Jr.; her stepchildren, Joanne Warren and Garland Frank Edwards; her siblings, Herman Felton Whitley, William Linwood Whitley, James Ervin Whitley and Ruby Dale Evett; and her grandchildren, Gerry Wayne Rogers, Jr., Frances Darlene Warren and Thomas Holt Warren, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Jeanette Edwards Brice (Daniel) of Washington and Douglas "Keith" Edwards of Washington; and her grandchildren, Douglas Tyler Edwards (Ashley), Joshua Whitley Edwards (Samantha), Christina Brice Gooch (Tim), Matthew Alan Brice (Marzella), Elizabeth Sullivan (Dustin) and Britney Brickhouse. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren: and a great great grandchild.
