With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Jean Midgett Whitehurst of Grimesland, North Carolina, born in Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Estelle Kimball Midgett and Donald Gray Midgett; her husband Felix Benton Whitehurst; her brothers, David Midgett and Mike Buckner; and her pet Bella.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Moye (Tonya); her grandchildren, Grayson and Landry; her stepchildren, Peggy Daniels (Ervin) and Troy Whitehurst (Andrea); her siblings, Steve Midgett (Lynn) and Diane Griffin (Doug); her sister-in-law Karen Midgett; and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund (256 Bayview Dr, Stumpy Point, NC 27978).
