Reggie was a lifelong resident of the Grimesland community, graduating from Grimesland High School. He served as a sergeant in the National Guard for 7 years, where he worked as a mechanic. Following his discharge, he returned to Grimesland to dedicate his life to the family farm. Reggie was an avid fox hunter, a board member for the Eastern Fox Hunter's Association, and was inducted into the National Fox Hunter's Hall of Fame. He enjoyed raising hunting dogs and won numerous awards, including National July Champion and Grand National July Champion, for dogs he had raised. Reggie loved being outdoors, tracking animals, judging bench shows and field trials, and just spending time with his family. He was also a member of Freedom Baptist Church, where he learned "Being good is not good enough.". Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Edwards; son, William Daniel Fuller; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Terry Edwards of Grimesland; daughter, Cassie Fuller of Colorado; a host of nieces, nephews, and their families; and numerous special friends and hunting buddies.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home towards his funeral expense.
The family would like to thank ECU Adult Med Peds Clinic and Freedom Baptist Church for their support and Kindred Home Health, Community Hospice and MacGregor Downs Health and Rehab for their compassionate care and continued support.
