With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vashtine M. Alston of Grifton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kato Moore and Laura Williams Moore; her husband Samuel Alston; and her siblings, Thomas Moore, Harry Moore, Leola Lawson, Mary Mitchell, Melvin Moore and Laura Hall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharnetta Moore Lowe and Shikirah Alston; her grandchildren, Brandon Carr, Nya Lowe and Riddick Rouse; and her siblings, Theodore Moore (Ethel), Minnie Sanders, Elder Luvenia Sutton (Thomas) and Marie Bates. She is also survived by other aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside Service will convene Thursday December 31, 2020 at 1pm at Evergreen Memorial Estates With Dr. Kenneth Joyner as Eulogist. *Due to COVID-19, we ask that EVERYONE who attends the Viewing and Funeral Services to please maintain social distancing & wear masks.
