She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Mae Branch and George Burroughs. She is survived by: her husband Ellis "Butch" Neal; her siblings, Peggy Branch of Greenville, Brenda Wilson of Greenville and Ray Burroughs of Washington; and her nieces, Gabriella Wilson, Elizabeth Horton (Anthony) and Alexis Anderson.
