Susan Gail Tuggle Obituary
Susan Gail Tuggle, 57, of Grifton, passed away on February 19, 2017 at Vidant Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. "Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength". She was born on March 13, 1959 in Wake Co., NC. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Smith, a sister, Belinda Langston and one brother, Cheryl Tart. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Susan was a godly woman who loved children and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed in her spare time, gardening, crocheting and visiting the beach. She was more than just a friend to many and never met a stranger.
Susan is survived by her husband, Fred Tuggle, of the home; one son, Tim Critzer and wife, Amy, of Grifton; two daughters, Tanya Loftin and husband, John, of Grifton and Shanon Ebright and husband Robert, of Kinston; her father, Oscar Yantz and wife, Bernadine , of Holden Beach; one brother, Bruce Boykin, of Greenville; one sister, Kathy Holmes also of Holden Beach. She also leaves behind seven precious grandchildren, Shane, Brent, Monica, Melissa, Ashley, Christopher and Thomas; as well as a special aunt, Deloris Jordan, of Zebulon.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, at 3:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Kinston. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 at the church. No public internment services.
