She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Davis and Stella Davis; and her siblings, Leon Davis, Louise Smith and Harvey Davis.
She is survived by: her husband J. Vernon Braswell of Grifton; her children, Denise Huff (Gerard) of Wilson, Vernon Lamar Braswell (Vicki) of Kinston and Ivan Braswell (Penny) of Grifton; her grandchildren, Emily Hooker (Sean), Sarah Huff, Alice Huff, April Lee (Daniel), Jordan Braswell (Kia), Daniel Hill (Kaitlyn) and Andrew Braswell; her great grandchildren, Kai Hooker, Gideon Hooker, Luke Hill, Gabriel Hill, Kayleigh Hill, Natalie Hill, Danny Hill and Reid Lee; and her brother James B. Davis of Smithfield.
