It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Hardee Cannon of Grifton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nashville Hardee, Jr. and Olivia Jones Hardee; her husband Louis Gray Cannon; and her sisters, Joyce Mercer and Janice Cabrera.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Michael Louis Cannon (Karen) and Steven Paul Cannon of Grifton, NC; and her grandchildren, Nathan Michael Cannon of Fort Mill, SC, Jason Nicholas Cannon of Lewisville, NC, Taylor Nicole Cannon of Greenville, NC and Garrett Steven Cannon of Grifton, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
