In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Fannie Thomas Kirkman. He is survived by: his father Joseph Cephus Rouse; and his sisters, Mamie Lee Ange, Lola Johnson Bernard, Lou Isabelle Sermons, Sally V. Whitley and Fannie Alice Clark. He is also survived by 20 nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at the Riverside Christian Church (545 Riverside Rd, Grifton, NC 28530).
