She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Dixon and Lula Mae Jackson Dixon; and her husband Gerald Allen Southerland. She is survived by: her children, Brian J. Southerland of Greenville, Scott E. Southerland of Texas and Pamela S. Macon (Randy Macon) of Raleigh; her granddaughter Emily Macon (Mac) of Nashville, TN; and her siblings, Annette Henderson of Wallace, Thil Worley of Potters Hill and Gordon Dixon of Harrells.
