He is survived by: his wife Melody Simpson of Greenville, NC; his children, Donald Bell of Raleigh, NC, Michael Early of Lafayette, IN, Bryant Gardner of Greenville, NC and Bianca Early of Greenville, NC; and his siblings, Fred Carmon of Miami, FL, Tony Simpson of Plymouth, NC, Iris Jackson of Wendell, NC and Sybil Simpson of Winterville, NC. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
