He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, David Bowers Whichard, Catherine W. Wilson (Donny) of Greenville, Ed Whichard (Lynn) of Winterville and Tommy Whichard of Robersonville; his close friend Faye Housley of Greenville; his cousin Bill Donalson of Tallahassee, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Emily W. Gaskins (Ben) of Grifton, Lauren W. Castelloe (Stanley) of Windsor, Jessica W. Bacon (Jerome) of Greenville, Brian Whichard of Carova Beach, Stuart Whichard (Jennie) of Kinston and Christopher Wilson of Greenville. He was also cherished by 9 great nieces.
