He is survived by: his wife Margie Farmer of Greenville; his daughters, Beverly Farmer Sullivan (Sherry) of Statesville and Tina Farmer Bothern (Brian) of Belvoir; and his siblings, Helen Roberson (Ashley) of Stokes, Ray Farmer (Marry Ann) of Greenville and Ricky Farmer (Judy) of Winterville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
