He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Cabell Snead and Catherine Schott Snead; his wife Shirley Simmons Snead; and his sister Myrtle "Dolores" Zaner. He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Snead and Kristen Snead Peele (Randy); his grandsons, Jakob Snead and Randal Peele, Jr.; and his niece Shera Dare "Sherri" Wheeler.
