It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Earl Elks (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Elks; his children, Tracy Jennette (Chris) of Niceville, Pam Merrill (Robert) of Ayden, Tina Ingle of Grimesland and Aaron C. Penny (Kristen) of Grimesland; his grandchildren, Haley, Dakota, Katherine, Libby, Ava, Madison, Trey and Billy; his siblings, Lou Moore (Roger) of Farmville, Roy Lee Elks (Peggy) of Bell Arthur and Ray Elks (Nancy) of Greenville; and his sisters-in-law, Reita Elks, Faye Duncan and Sandra Elks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gabriel House of Care, 4599 Worrall Way, Jacksonville, Florida 32224.
