He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Lewis Carney and Robert Joseph Carney; his sons, Emanuel of Washington and Darren Jones of Greenville, NC; and his siblings, Janie Marie Smith of Greenville, NC, Elizabeth Denise Carney of Greenville, NC and Timothy Carney (Bernathia) of Greenville, NC. He was also cherished by three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
