He was predeceased by: his father Arthur William Baker of Birmingham, Ala; and his daughter Chinquita "Chinny" Humphrey. He is survived by: his mother Eliza J. Lunsford Baker of Greenville; his wife Yolanda Baker; his sons, Bernard Patton of Charlotte, NC and Lazar Barclay of Anniston, AL; his stepdaughter Michealine Kristine; and his grandchildren, Tylasia and Bernard Jr..
