He is survived by: his wife Betty Viverette Pollard; his sons, Michael Wayne Pollard of Greenville and Walter Scott Pollard (Tracy) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Jessica P. Avery (Tim, Emily Pollard), Jake Pollard and Jayden Pollard; his great grandchild Ryker Snyder; his sister Joy P. Bowers of Vanceboro; and his sister-in-law Freda Pollard.
