In the vast expanse of eternity, Waverly Erwin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Waverly Erwin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Waverly Hester and Sarah Hester; his wife Marti; and his son William Erwin "Will" Hester. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Hester Mayo (Dan) of Greenville and James Burton "Jim" Hester of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; his granddaughter Emily Erwin Mayo (Ted Briggs) of Raleigh; his sister Margo Hester Roff; and his nieces, Mary Roff Long (Bob) and Carolyn Roff Henry (Tracy).
