It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Coward (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Hardy and Sadie Haddock Hardy; her husband Linwood Ervin Coward, Sr. (Red Apple); and her siblings, Linwood Ray Hardy, Donald Wayne Hardy, Billy Gene Hardy and Helen Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie C. Averill (Walt) of Grimesland, Danny L. Hardy (Jackie) of Grimesland, Linwood E. "Bro" Coward, Jr. (Rhonda) of Black Jack and Alan R. Coward (Lisa) of Black Jack; her grandchildren, Derek Averill, Dana H. Evans (Kensil), Jarrett Coward and Lauren H. Stancil (Brent); her great grandchildren, Colton D. Evans and Kensil J. Evans, IV; and her siblings, Joseph Eugene Hardy, Nellie Mae Cannon, Alice Faye Jones and Mavis Woolard.
