She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Norman and Martha Norman; her former husband Jack D. Gargis, Sr.; her son David Gargis; her siblings, Paul, Joe Norman and Rachel Majeri; and her grandson-in-law Jimmy Deason.
She is survived by: her husband Clinton Ridenour; her children, Virginia Faye Smith and Jack D. Gargis, Jr. (Peggy); her daughter-in-law Susan Gargis; her grandchildren, Nathan Smith, III (Christina), Melissa Deason, Jack Gargis, III (Terrell), Caroline Tyre (Scott), Matthew Gargis and Julia Gargis; her great grandchildren, Nathan Smith, IV (Ginger) and Maria Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Laci Smith, Hayden Smith, Kirkland Gargis and Gia Gargis.
