It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Mizzelle of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Worsley Morris and Tony Mizzelle Sr.; and his siblings, Dora Pinchback, Betty Ford, George Morris, Willie Morris and William Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Acklin (Donnie) of Greenville, NC, Anthony Mizzelle (Lomax) of Greenville, NC and Nedra Whichard (Kevin) of Greenville, NC; and his grandchildren, Tykelia Hopkins-Ward (Karim) of San Diego, CA, Taquil Stevenson of San Diego, CA, Dante Stevenson of Brooklyn, NY, Avianna Moore of Brooklyn, NY, Dylan Watford of Brooklyn, NY, Lashia DeLaney of Brooklyn, NY, Keith Delaney Jr. of Brooklyn, NY and Trevon Delaney of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
