He is survived by: his wife Anne DeVane Reese; his daughter Amy Reese Daughtridge (Jesse) of Durham; his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Daughtridge of Winterville and Thomas Hinton Daughtridge of Charlotte; and his sister Evelyn Reese of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
