It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Syble Kemp Payne (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas O. Kemp and Eva Mae Parker Kemp; her daughter Brenda S. Payne; and her brother Lewis Kemp (Joyce). She is survived by: her husband James W. Payne; her sons, David Payne (Tammy) of Winterville and Larry Payne (Christine) of Gray, TN; and her grandchildren, Paige Dipirro, Maddison Payne McClellan (Connor) and Garrett Payne.
