With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sybil Schackelford (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Linwood C. Tingen, Willie Jones and Marvin "Shorty" Shackleford; and her siblings, Lillian Worthington, Mary Beacham, Shirley Jones and L. W. Wetherington.
She is survived by: her children, L. C. Tingen (Becky) of Pamlico County, Daniel Jones (Michelle) of Ayden, Glen Jones of Savannah, GA, Marilyn Elks (Danny) of Vanceboro and Phyllis Jones of Greenville; and her siblings, Faye Duncan and Glen Wetherington. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
