He is survived by: his mother Denise O'Grady (Deschenes); his stepfather Joseph Dutra of South Dartmouth, MA; his father Thom O'Grady; his stepmother Denise McEvily of Old Saybrook, CT; his siblings, Douglas O'Grady (Ashley) of Brookfield, CT and Colleen Williams (Thomas) of Brimfield, MA; his nephews, Jake, Patrick O'Grady and Kayden Williams; his stepbrothers, Ian McEvily (Elizabeth) and Colin McEvily (family: David, Julie Ann Erwin); and also, Miranda and Meredith. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

“Steve was teaching my son how to play drums. My son learned to read music from Steve. He would write out music for him to practice. We didn’t buy the drum kit yet, just the sticks and book, and Steve shared a story that he started out playing on pillows too. At the last lesson Steve was very excited when my son got something with the music and played and Steves enthusiasm made my son proud and encouraged him.”
