She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudie Smith and Mattie Smith; her spouse Royce Willoughby; her great grandchild Justin Willoughby; and her siblings, Josephine Smith, Virginia Moore, Joyce Boyd and Carlton Holland.
She is survived by: her children, R. L. Willoughby, Jr. (Jenni) of Newport, David Willoughby (Kay) of Holden Beach and Mary W. Coleman (Jerry) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Michael Willoughby (Monica), Kevin Willoughby, Michelle W. Naylor, Joseph Willoughby, Matthew Coleman (Stephanie), Darren Coleman (Cara), Sydney Hudson (Dallas) and Jacob Coleman (Avery); her great grandchildren, Sommer Johnson (Chris), Cassidy Cowley (Luke), Anthony, David Wayne Naylor, Wesley, Caleb, Chase, Emma, Oliver Coleman and Baylor Hudson; her great great grandchild Leo Cowley; and her sisters, Katy S. Oakley of Stanley and Ruby Burrow (Donald) of Raeford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
