She is survived by: her daughter Tina Eakes Gilbert (Robert) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Delanie Michelle Gilbert and Lexie Alana Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Bryson and Mailee; her sisters, Grace Vandiford of Morganton, Doris Plata of Raleigh and Janice Tingen of Winnabow; her sister-in-law Bonnie Whaley of Ayden; and her pet Boots. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
