She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Vicki Thorp (Dan) of Spotsylvania and Kenneth Cox (Jeanette) of Chesterfield, VA; and her husband Jeter Cox. She was also cherished by dogs, so Sadie is "grandmom" to the dogs as well as Kenny's step-kids and grandkids.

Her Alzheimer's continued to worsen between 2010-2019.
