He is survived by: his wife Shirley Baker Best; his children, Rita Suggs (Louden) of Surf City, NC, Ron Best II (Kelly) of Stokes, NC and Randall Best (Crystal) of Stokes, NC; and his sister Betty Cole (Dan) of Hampstead, NC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
