It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Gainer Parsons (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bussing Stewart and Roberta Gertrude Gainer; her husband Thomas Parsons; and her son Eugene William Parsons. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie (Dave) of Ayden and Tom (Michele) of Union Mills; and her grandchildren, Jessica Parsons Rivera of Raleigh, Lela Walker, Amanda Parrish (Richard) of Fuquay-Varina, Robert Walker of Greenville, Moxie Williams (Leslie) of Rockingham and Zebbe (Christina) of Wake, Forest. She is also survived by Eight Great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to assist needy animals by donating to Pitt Friends at 3489 E. Wilson Street, Farmville, NC 27828.
