He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis Irvin and Bertha Jeffress Ramey; his wife Charlotte Hudgins Ramey; his son-in-law Herb Wilkerson; his daughters, Jean Ramey Wilkerson of Atlantic Beach and Barbara Lee Ramey; his granddaughters, Virginia Grey Wilkerson Willis (Brian) of Havelock, NC and Catherine Lee Rentz Wilkerson of Raleigh; and his great grandchild Charlotte Rentz "Charlee" Willis.
