He is survived by: his wife Ruby Strickland Briley; his daughters, Kathy Hooker (Joe) of Aurora, NC and Gail Mayo (Danny) of Washington, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Sutton (Cindy) of Statesville, Robbie Hooker of Aurora, Matthew Hooker (Johanna) of Washington and LeeAnne Hooker of Aurora; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Sutton, Dylan Sutton, Willow Hooker and Khloie Hooker.
