He was predeceased by: his parent W. K. Stokes; his wife Ruth Whitford Stokes; his son Robin Stokes; and his brother Wayne K. Stokes. He is survived by: his parent Kathleen Stokes; his children, Graham Kay Stokes, Cathy S. Wilkerson (Robert) and Karen S. Hardee (Leon Hardee, Jr.); his daughter-in-law Kim Adams Stokes; his grandchildren, Robbie Stokes (Kim), Helen Stokes, Hunter Hardee (Holly), Taylor Hardee, Tanner Hardee and Matt Wilkerson (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Emily, Abby Stokes, Walker, Maddox Hardee, Ben, Luke and Ethan Wilkerson; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Stokes and Mildred Whitford.
