He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Calvin Addison Stell and Mattie Mildred Stell; his brother Eddie Alan Stell; his children, Robert Stell Jr. (Tammy), Robyn Stell Lewis (Faron) and Amber Stell Freeman (Doug); his grandchildren, Katelynn Stell, Megan Freeman and Clayton Lewis; and his close friend Parker Short.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, Bear Grass Fire & Rescue, Williamston Fire & Rescue, or American Stroke Association.
