He is survived by: his wife Pamela Vater (FitzGerald); his children, Laura Graff (Jason) of Plano, TX, Sally Vater of Plano and Robert E. Vater of Shrewsbury, MA; his siblings, Carol Vater of Somerville, MA and Paul Vater (Joanny) of Lafayette, NJ; and his grandson Warren Graff.
