He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Vines; his children, Betty Graham, Mechell Speight, Ricky White, Jr. of Greenville, NC and Constance Alford of Winterville, NC; and his sisters, Lovell W. Matthews of Lothian, MD and Ruby W. Payton (Charles) of Winterville, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
