He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Singletary (Neil) and Alice Foley Jones; his siblings, Miriam Allen, Laura Singletary, Rachel Singletary and Edward Singletary; and his son Matthew Singletary.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Singletary; his children, Trey Singletary of Greenville and Ann Singletary Regnier (Mark) of Winterville; his grandson Walton Regnier; and his siblings, Alice Singletary, Martha Woods and John Singletary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the name of Matthew Singletary.
