It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray McDonald of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ann McDonald; his parents, Gilmer "Mac" McDonald and Dorothy "Dot" Congleton; and his sister Diane Voncannon. He is survived by: his son Todd McDonald (Carmen) of Greenville, NC; his sister Shelia Wilson of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Nathan McDonald, Ridge McDonald, Abby Marcum, Matty Marcum and Cooper Marcum; and his nieces, JoDee Voncannon, Heather Wilson, Gayla Oxendine and Brittany Wilson.
