He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston H. Cannon, Sr. and Eula Mae Green Cannon; his former wife Ruby Lee McArthur Cannon; and his brother-in-law Durwood Harris. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Cannon of Greenville; his daughters, DeLon Cannon Nelms (Gary) of Raleigh, Debbie Cannon Andrews (Owen) of New Bern, Dawn Cannon Wilkins (Tim) of Wake Forest and Crystal Dawn May of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ashley Nelms-Williams (Ryan), Christopher Donovan Andrews (Mary Hannah), Kristen Lee Nelms, Elliot Preston Andrews (Sarah Jane), Mary Kendall Andrews, Caleb McArthur Wilkins, Matthew Cannon Nelms, Grace Elizabeth Wilkins and Jaiden May; his great grandchild Robert Fox Andrews; his sister Edna Cannon Harris; and his nieces and nephews, Tony Gordon, Duff Harris (Delores), Jane Capps (Robert), Susan Harris and Carly Gordon.
