It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Bell Goforth of Greenville, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd E. Bell and Beulah Scott Bell; her husband Bill Goforth; and her siblings, Mary Kathryn Farmer (AC), Barbara Cargal (Guilford), Nancy Thompson (Roger), David Bell and Jimmy Bell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann G. Sutton (Jimmy) of Greenville and Jane Wheeler (Lentz) of Herndon, VA; her grandchildren, Deanna Sutton, David and Katie Wheeler; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Allen Bell of Greensboro and Rose Mary Bell of Greer, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
