With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penelope Roberts Jenkins (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Roberts and Garnet Roberts; and her siblings, Dr. Lawrence Jobe Roberts and Sandra Marie Eason. She is survived by: her husband Jesse L. Jenkins; her daughters, Myra A. Jenkins of Ayden and Mary L. Johnson (Jeffrey) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Spencer Margaret and Latham Thomas of Raleigh; her close friend Jack; her siblings, Patsy Roberts Parker (Linwood) of Four Oaks and William Boyd Roberts (Sharon) of Brandywine, MD; and her brother-in-law Bobby Eason of Emerald Isle. She is also survived by five nieces and 3 nephews.
