He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Tyer Garrett; his children, Jo Ann Garrett Massey (Lane) of New Bern, Terry Lynn Garrett Dixon (Russell) of Greenville and Paul Thomas Garrett, Jr. (Carla) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Tyler Garrett (Erica Carter), Jessica Lane Massey, Jennifer Ann Massey and Abigail Gracen Dixon; and his siblings, Butch Garrett, Dick Garrett, Benny Garrett, Albert Garrett, Gary Garrett, Carolyn Garrett Smock, Jean Phillips, Lois Marie Garrett Shipps and Diana Garrett Croom.
