She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tyndall and Bernice Tyndall; her sister Dot Nobles; and her brothers-in-law, Terry Gene Nobles, Clifton Brock and Virgil Barnhill.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Nichols (Cindy) of Ayden and Bobby Nichols (Kim) of Apex; her grandchildren, Katie Summers (Matt) of Statesville, Christopher Nichols (Anna) of Raleigh and Emily Coble (Conner); her great grandchildren, Landon of Fayetteville and Caroline Sides (Logan) of Morrisville; her grandson Andrew Nichols of Greenville; her siblings, James Tyndall (Debbie) of Winterville, Ronnie Tyndall (Laura) of Wilmington, Betty Lou Brock of Winterville, Shirley Barnhill of Greenville and Frances Tyndall of Burlington; and her friends, Alice Dickens and Peggy Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you honor Patsy's memory by doing a kind deed for someone in the form of visiting a shut-in, sending a card, sharing gifts of food, or donations to those in need.
