She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret W. Speight and J. W. Speight; and her brother Mike Manning. She is survived by: her son Chad Shirley (Rachel) of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Tarrah Shirley and Jayden Shirley; and her sister Donna Kay Morgan (Marvin) of Snow Hill, NC.
