It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Prestridge Swain Jr. of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Joseph "Walker" Swain of Lynchburg, VA and Mary Hall Swain of West Glacier, MT; the mother of his children Mary Ann Archie Swain of Greenville; his father Norman Prestridge Swain, Sr.; his sister Annette Swain Leo; his mother Barbara Walker Swain; his brother-in-law James Leo of Greenville; his siblings, Ada Swain Harriss (McRae) of Halifax, NC and Rodney Lewis Swain of Live Oak, FL; and his nieces, Amanda Harriss Gay (Nick) of Raleigh, NC, Heather Harriss Braddy (Kyle) of Greenville and Jeanne Brewer of Springfield, IL. He was also cherished by great-nephew and three great-nieces.
