He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph, Elaine Laptewicz and Peter Nero. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Laptewicz and Maria Laptewicz; his siblings, Annie Fries (Joe) and Peter Laptewicz (Jennifer); and his grandmother Lucy Nero. He is also survived by two nieces, and one nephew.
